Projects and Festivals

We have been lighting festivals since we started, including such huge and prestigious festivals as Boomtown, Glastonbury, Shambala and Latitude. We’ve also carried out special lighting projects for organisations and companies, including the world-famous organic and vegan foods co-operative, Suma Foods.

We have received great feedback about our work at these festivals and special projects. Many lighting design companies limit their offerings to curtain events such as music venues and theatres, but not us! At Spiralstagelighting we believe that anything is possible, and we focus not only on the big vision but also on every tiny detail in order to make shows look great.

Here are some of the famous festivals and projects we have worked for…

Shambala Festival

We have been booked for Shambala for two years now and the positive feedback from our clients Sevim and Rob from TPi has led to award nomination both times. Main contractor Fineline Lighting says: “We will be booking Spiralstagelighting until Shambala is over!”

Boomtown

As a result of word-of-mouth recommendation from $billion company Avolites, we are currently working at Boomtown in the Metropolis district on the Pagoda Plaza stage. Acts we have lit include the world-famous British movie star Idris Elba and many famous DJs. We have been booked for Boomtown again this year and hopefully should be doing more in the future! Thanks to our client Wingnut! Boomtown is one of the biggest festivals which has featured huge artists including Carl Cox, Gorrilaz and others! Boomtown is almost six miles in diameter with over 25 main stages and they just added 80 new street venues for this year! Pagoda Plaza is the main stage for the Metropolis district.

Bearded Theory

This year we worked on the Main Stage doing video and lighting at Bearded Theory 2019. It wasn’t just us doing it though! Matt from Leeway was also working on the main stage. The rental was from DBNaudile.

Houssein at Hoxton Bar and Kitchen

Back in April we worked on Houssein’s show at Hoxton Bar and Kitchen. Houssein is well known for his music, social media and his appearances on world-famous TV channel Nickelodeon. We were asked by his manager Adam to light his show down in London’s Hoxton Bar and Kitchen.
