This year we were booked for the third successive time to light Shambala Festival in Northamptonshire. We were booked for the Main Stage, which hosted acts such including Idles, Sister Nancy and others. We were also lucky enough to be invited to use some of Chauvet’s Storm Washes in the rig and the Avolites Arena.
Fineline Lighting from Bristol supplied equipment for the Main Stage and the Kamikaze Stage. Thanks to their awsome crew, the festival lighting was a massive success. Everyone did an amazing job and collaborated extremely well. Yet again another successful year at Shambala! Here is what Fineline Lighting had to say:
“Adventures in Utopia Shambala Festival, as for the last 15 years we were proud to supply two stages at this festival over the bank holiday weekend:
Main Stage consisting of CHAUVET Professional UK ROBE lighting using a Avolites Arena Control, Kamikaze Stage – Chauvet Rogue R2X Spot, Chauvet Rogue R2X Beam, Chauvet Rogue R2 Wash, Martin Professional Atomic Strobes with Martin Face 5HB Led Video screen.
We couldn’t of done it without all the crew: Elliot Baines, Rachel Moule, Ian Cookie Brookes, Jan Osborne, Alex Shenton Parkin, Shokie Winks, Steve J Brown, Eve Brown, Wesley Williams, Gary Saunders, Olly Walker, Kris Lundberg with great support from Avolites Steve Warren and Gregg Haynes.”
Here’s to next year!
