Hi there! Thanks for clicking the Learn More button! My name is Elliot Baines and I am an award-winning lighting designer. I have been doing lighting since as long as I can remember. I can’t remember a day where I haven’t thought about lights!
After 10 years of experience, I have explored the industry in and out, learning to operate numerous professional lighting consoles from Chamsys to Avolites. I have used Avolites for quite a while now and consider myself an expert in use of their consoles. I’ve worked with huge clients including Ben Phillips on tour, Hawklords, Jimmy Cliff, Wolf359 and many others!
I have also worked on some of the biggest festivals in the UK, lighting stages at Glastonbury Festival in 2014, Shambala from 2017 to 2019, Boomtown from 2018 to 2019 and Bearded Theory in 2019. Sadly not all pictures make it to the site but now we have upgrade our social media equipment, you will see a lot more very soon!
I love lighting and it has been my passion my whole life! People always ask me “Elliot, do you think you are ever going to do something different in your career or eventually get bored of lighting?” I can’t imagine I would ever work as anything else or get bored with lighting. I have always been interested in lights since I was three years old! That may sound hard to believe, but as a toddler I used to just stare at lights. I absolutely loved it! Back in those days I used torches and messed about with incense sticks in the fireplace!
Roll the clock forward 13 years and I have achieved so much. I want to thank everyone who has helped me for all your support! I am absolutely amazed at how far I have come and after ten years in the industry I can’t thank every single person enough!
